Game Players at the Canadian National Exhibition, Toronto, 2009

Pigment print on archival paper, printed by David Kaufman

At the time when the CNE still had a large midway, games of chance such as Crown and Anchor were popular with late night attendees at Toronto’s annual fall exposition. This photo is reminiscent of an image by Fred Herzog taken at the Pacific National Exposition in Vancouver in 1961.
