The First Russian Congregation of Rodfei Sholem Anshei Kiev, known as the Kiever Synagogue, was founded by Jewish immigrants from Ukraine in 1912. It’s one of a number of historic, still-functioning congregations in the vicinity of Kensington Market in Toronto.
